Firebird Tach replacement questions???
Has anyone here replaced only the tach on the firebird dash? I want to keep all the other gauges and replace the tach with one that will fit the stock panel. How would i go about doing this? Also my speedo doesn't work because i just swapped in the T-56. Anyone know where I get the SGI box to convert the signal to my stock guage. Wiring confuses me more than anything. I have no idea where to start...

Re: Firebird Tach replacement questions???
replacing the tach with an aftermarket gauge or a stock one with a high rpm reading? you can get a stock 8k tach that will pop right in, ive got a spare cluster with the 140mph speedo and 8k tach if your interested.
After the holiday season im going to build me a new cluster with all autometer sport comp II gauges, i see no reason why it cant be done, I will be posting the results when im done so maybe that another route for you

Cool, I might be interested in the cluster swap. Is it a bolt in deal?
