Hello, I have very low mechanical skills for automobiles, however, I bought an 89 Z28 Camaro with a 305 engine. The problem is, it idles too high and when I shift it pulls down on the transmission, I've had a mechanic run some diagnostic tests on it and one of the problems that came up said that the throttle position sensor is too low. He believes that it is the cause of the main problem and could be the source for the other problems. So what I am looking for is the wiring diagram for the throttle position sensor.

Haynes repair manuals have that info.

Also it's very simple, one terminal, usually a grey wire is the reference 5V, there is a ground, usually black, and the signal wire, commonly blue. At closed throttle, the voltage will be low, less than .7V and raise to close to 5V at WOT.
