NONE OF MY INTIRIOR LIGHTS WORK ALL FUSES ARE GOOD PLEASE HELP..

I HAVE A 1989 FIREBIRD formula. Everything works but the power pull down hatch and all the interior lights. I checked all the fuses and all of them are good. So what could it be?...Also when i press the trunk button on the dash it does not click like all other firebird that i have seen. So could you please help me. Like i said all the fuses are good and all the bulbs are good.
Also what is the little thing that says "Gain" and has a little music button next to it?..Thanks

test light the spade fuse sockets for power, one will be hot and the other wont be, for the courtesy lights, if not then something is wrong in the wiring somewhere

if the dash lights and instrument panel guages lights dont woirk either then it is probably the headlamp switch bad

check that fuse for power also, with the headlamp switch on and with the dimmer dial turned up

The switch is for a factory installed Subwoofer sound system. There should be an extra Amp behind the dash housing and the rear speakers should be enclosed in special boxes made just for that set-up. Each rear speaker box contains 2 speakers rather than 1 like in most ThirdGens.
