Unstable ground, new ground kit?
Just trying to figure out where I can get or what ground kit I use if i want to redo my ground on the whole car. All electrical stuff flickers, lights, dome lights, radio ect. Just wanted to know if anyone knows of a good kit, I assume a stock 1984 wire kit would work, as I don't know due to someone putting in a 350ci engine, dunno if they used different grounds. any advice?
here is a ground kit i found on ebay. look any good?

That'z not to bad of a Ground Kit. Just to warn you that's just for the Engine Compartment. if you have a bad ground it maybe some where. i've been working on my 91 RS for a while and find grounds all over the place, but the f**k head that had it before me fubared the electrical up. i think first i would check for loose/melted wires tho from the way it sounds. something could be grounding out that should'nt be basiclly shorting your system out. i'd start with the main electircal system as well. Alternator/Battery and go from there. Just meh thoughts

Does anyone know what this is? Its on the drivers side of the manifold, in between the spark plugs. There was two hookups on it that were melted and I cut them off and taped them. Not sure what they were but that could be part of the ground problem? I dont know..here are some pics. Any advice?

heres a picture of the engine, been workin on cleaning it a little, still lots to do!

Ok that would be you're Tempeture sensor for you're Temp gauge in teh car if its still stock. Which since you don't know what it is prolly so. Now it could make the systme flicker if it was grounding on something. B/c it would make a short for the cluster gauge.

But then again lol the car electrical sys is phenomena something that easy could of been it or something else keep me posted. I hope it fixed it. now there was two wires??? hmmm idk about two wires usually one. but you'res a newer model so it could be two.
