I have a 1991 Camaro. The hatch motor works, but when you are driving down the road it lets go of the trunks and then it catches it and pulls it back down and keeps repeating. Has anybody ever have that happen and Does anybody know what I should Look for.....

 

i had similar problems.
i ridged mine so its no longer a electrionic hatch. just a mechacnical hatck latch thing. i just use finger to so that the latch will pull down to about half way. and unpluged the power wire that was goiing to it so it doesnt move up and down anymore. closed the hatch and it works. keeps it closed. and it opens like the same way. but my hatch switch inside is broken so i never use it. i just use the key to open the hatch.

 

So I had a question is it hard to fix it where it won't do that...
