why are my injectors are not getting enough votlage

i havea 1991 camaro rs 305 at trany i have the vats system bypassed by doing the yellow wire to the tan and white from the gear selector. but now the enjectors dont seem to be getting enough voltage to spray.


PLEASE HELP ME

do i need to change the cip in the computer or is there a way to jump some wires for it or what

There are ways to deal with this lost-key situation:

The right fix would be to find the resistance that your key chip must have (I think there are 15 possible values or so). That would take some playing with resistors and some time. Then you'd go to the stealership and ask them to cut you a key with that resistance in its chip.

Or you can use the resistors that you found in the step above to work and solder them into the harness to bypass the key for ever.

Or you can disable VATS by re-burning a no-vats chip for your car.

You can do a search on these forums and you will find a lots of information how to perform any of the above.
