Fuseable link question
I have a question in regards to a fuseable link that I found on my 82 Z28 on the passenger side of my firewall. Its just hanging there and the wire off of it is cut but it does have power going to it. My question is what does it go to? I thought maybe some relay like the fan but the motor had a fan and clutch assembly. I swapped it out to electric but I was wondering if I could use the fuseable link as a power source to run a series of relays for a fan relay and keyless entry system. I can make the bracket to hold the relays against the fire wall with no problem but if I can't use this as a power source I will have to go into the rats nest that is my cars wiring. Also under the steering column I have a pink and black two conductor wire that is just hanging and I would like to know where that goes as well there is a connector on it and the best I can figure is that it goes to a switch above the brake pedal but I'm not sure. Its hard to find an readable wiring diagram that I can follow for this car. Every repair manual I have shows the wiring starting with the 83 but I have noticed a lot of differences between the two of them that I have corrected on my own wiring diagram.
