Testing wiper motor?
My GM windshield wipers only work on high. I've replaced the electronic module and still no luck. I have no low and the intermittent doesn't work either.
I'm thinking it's probably the switch in the column, but before I dig deep into that I'd like to test the motor.
I have probed the wiring connector that plugs to the module. I found constant power and diagonaly from that I found the wire that powers the high side of the motor. I cant get power on any other terminals. There is also a plastic disc inside the module housing that I assume works as part of the intermittent function.
If anyone has a procedure to test the motor pinouts or the connector pinouts so I can determine which part is defective would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Brandon
