Re: NEED HELP AT WITS END !!!!
Not sure if this is any help, but something very similar was happening to my boat's engine (200HP, fuel injected, electronic ignition Evinrude). Turned out to be the Electronic Control Module. I replaced it and no longer have a problem.

check your fuel pressure it sounds like by cycling key it runs the pump enought to build the pressure i would guess your fuel pump is about to fail

Try jiggling the gearshift (if it's an auto ) or pump the cluch petal. I don't think your year has VATS. If that doesn't work, it could be your starter. Have it tested at autozone. I'd probably test the starter first by connecting a test light to the small wire that connects to your starter. if it lights up but your starter doesn't turn over ... it's bad or the big cable that runs from the starter to the battery positive is bad. Just because it looks good doesn't mean it is good (I know from experiance)

Re: NEED HELP AT WITS END !!!!
Man it sounds like you have the same issue I do. If so does the Idle Air Control valve hum, along with the relay on the Evap can click? Does the Service Engine Soon light play along with the beat until one of the relays on the firewall make a loud click? After that it starts up fine and runs great until it just dies again. I'm tired of bashing my head too! Somebody help!
