wiring nightmare

ok so here is one of a few problems i have first i have no dash lights is a pain but i can deal with it till i figure out why my tail lights are first on the list i have been reading post doing searches and still am in the same place....i have replaced all bulbs and i mean every last one from front to back inside and out, second i have replaced all harnesses on all bulbs outside, third all fuses are new.i did find the plug that the tail light fuse plugs into in the back of the fuse box was out so i replaced it and woohoo i have lights in the rear..left signal works fine right one lights up the whole rear and goes solid when i hit the brakes...went to replace flasher units (hazard and turn) found the hazard and replaced but no turn flasher to be found anywhere under the dash i had the hole dash out looking for it couldn't even find Dark Blue and Purple wires for it WTF?on to dash lights new bulbs new headlight switch and dimmer still no lights oh yeah new fuses also now the fun part someone did some wiring to the head light switch..on the plug port A=Orange B=Empty C=Large Red D=yellow E=Red (one they wired in) F=tan or white can't really tell from age should i have a wire in the B port in the harness?and no reverse lights has a B&M mega shifter in it and a mess of wires going to a relay that just sits there like a four or five prong dunno what it does?

Re: wiring nightmare

Ok, check your tail light ground. I had that exact same problem and replaced the entire light harness to find all it was was a missing ground. I think it's a dark (black I think) wire and just put it on a bolt for the lid latch, after cleaning it off thoroughly. Give that a try first.
