Hi. I just finished swaping the engine and used the painless wiring harness for the engine. I have an 89 firebird that had a tbi system in place before the swap. I had to cut some of the wires from the harness to get the old engine harness out. I really need to know what wires hook up to the alt. and what wires needs to go to the battery to charge it back up.. thanks for all your help. also i have a thick red and and orange wire that are cut on the side by the battery.. and on the drivers side i have two thick red wires and a thick purple wire. I tried to look at the wiring diagram but I couldn't make sense of it. thanks again.
