I have an 87 Iroc with a power hatch and manual locks/windows. I went to the AutoZone site and checked out their PDFs. I also did a search on here and I just want to confirm that the Power Acc fuses are 30 amp and there are two of em.

The power hatch decided to stop working during my Hood fitment. I opened the hatch to remove stuff and when I set it back down, nothing. I went to the junkyard and got a cig lighter for it, since it never had one since I bought it. I pushed it in a few times months ago and it didnt do anything.

I checked the fuses once and found one or two that don't exactly look blown, but they don't look normal either. IDK what is up with em. Shed some light on my MS Paint masterpiece please:

Oh, and by the way, is there a trunk release inside the car?

 

Fuses are cheap enough that if there is any doubt you should replace them. My hatch quit working a while back the same way you describe. I checked all of my fuses and they were good. I replaced the relay below the pulldown and it started working again. I think it was six dollars.

 

If a car has a hatch release button inside does that mean the car just has a solenoid release with a regular hatch or could it be used with the power hatch motor?
