Instrument Cluster: '89 Cluster into a '91

I've been searching the forums but haven't had any luck. Would anyone happen to know if an '89 instrument cluster will fit as well as work right in a '91? Thanks in advance.

no. Not without switching the entire dash, and then you'll have to do something about the speedo since yours is electric and the 89 is cable driven.

Ok, thanks. I bought one on eBay because about 2 or 3 people advertised the 145 MPH clusters for 82-92. Then I started looking at it closer and the engine light, seat belt light, etc. will not be visible with my dash bezel on. The back looked different too. Thanks again.

I notice that all the time on Ebay, They list as 82-92 and that is
not correct thing to do as 90 up are electric speedo.
I send the listing person a brief note a advise them of that,
most say that you and reword, some just keep selling it....

Yeah, I made the mistake of buying before I knew if it would work. I told him not to ship that night and it's been 5 days and no contact from him. Looks like I'll be filing a report for false advertising. Hopefully that'll work... Anyway, thanks for the info.
