I have a bucket full of old temp, fuel and battery gauges that I've aquired over the years. I plugged each one in my cluster to see which ones were worth keeping. Alot of them didn't work. Some temp gauges popped above the 260 degree mark, gas gauges not ready true, and the battery gauges bouncing when the flashers or turn signal is on. What happens to these gauges? Do they somehow short out or what? Are they fix by replacement only or is there a way to fix them?
