HELP! Which color wire on pickup coil goes to P or N on module?
I removed the ignition module and confirmed it was bad, now I have a new one and need to install it but I don't remember which way the yellow and green wires were attached to the old one
Yellow and green wire from pickup coil, P and N terminals on module. Which goes to which???
Does someone have a distributer lying around w/ the cap on they can tell me?
Its not in the service manual!
Thanks!

Re: HELP! Which color wire on pickup coil goes to P or N on module?
On my 88 IROC 305 the green wire is on the inside near shaft center or P, yellow (mine looks white) is outside near lip or N. I had the same problem and in the end it seems that its not that critical as either way you will get a pulse ( pos verse neg pulse would equate to a minor time variation). The only reference I found was in a parts photo that showed a darker wire on P and a lighter wire on N. A scope would clarify the pulse polarity... if I had one.

That should work, thanks!
I was thinking I would need to drive to the parts store and hope they had a reman distributor and that they came with modules to look at
