Pretty much any wire that comes on with the ignition. In the ignition harness accessory is the orange wire. If you still have your relay, you can simply use that orange wire to energize the relay.
Your current fuel pump will pump way to much for a carb, so you will need to pick up an adjustable regulator, with a return built into it. This will allow you drop the pressure to an acceptable level, and send the unused fuel back to the tank.

yeah i have the regulator. it was running before with the stock pump but when i took out the wireharness something happened and the fuel pump quit working. pump still good. so i decided to just re-wire it. so just find the orange wire and splice and route it to the "+" side of my relay?

There is a dark green wire coming off the fuel pump relay beside the master cylinder. When the key is turned on that wire has power. You'll need to hook that wire to the fuel pump power wire. I've read a lot of posts where you have to splice the wire into a grey wire to power the pump. Until this morning I've had the green wire hooked up to a red wire that runs to the back. For 8 months it powered the fuel pump with no problem but it stopped this morning. I had to connect the green, red and grey wires to get my fuel pump to work.

the green red and grey wires are 3 differnet ones? green from the relay and the red and grey go back to the fuel pump?

Yes. The green comes off the relay. The grey is a small wire that seems like it goes back into the interior of the car. The red wire (on mine) goes down towards the transmission. I took a hot wire and found the wire that made the fuel pump kick on. I can ever remember reading about the red wire needing to be powered but for some reason mine wouldn't run without the grey and red wires connected. Maybe yours will work with just the grey wire.
