I just bought an 89 firebird the 5th one i've owned. The passenger side headlight motor is the old 82-84 3 wire motor not the newer 2 wire motor. The drivers side is but I know how the fix the gear bushing problem but my question is is there a way to wire up the old 3 wire motor to work for right now until I can get the right motor?

 

I know I'm late but my 87 t/a has the 2 wire harness and im using the 3 wire headlight motors. I had to twist the green and grey wires together on the 3 wire and connected it like it was a 2 wire. They should be the wires that switch polarity if Im not mistaken. I've had it wired up like that for about 2 months now with no problems
