Transplanted a 90 IROC 5.7 into a 89 T/A 5.7

There is a single green wire connector that comes out of the engine harness near the distributor next to the connector that goes to the back/underside of the Tune port. Don't know where it goes to.
Also the 4 wire connector to the distributor module is coming up short. Is there a difference between the 90 Iroc 5.7 distributor module mounting and an 89 T/a 5.7 distributor mounting module?
The module on the 90 is facing the 11 o'clock position. if it were facing the 1 or 2 o'clock position it would plug right up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance.

 

That wire went to the EGR for temp...not needed on a '90.

You can reposition the dist so the wires will reach, lift the dist and move it a couple of teeth.

 

Do i need to get a an 89 T/A EGR valve so i can plug that wire into it or is that not important. I dont want to have any check engine lights on. I need to have this car pass emission here in GA
