Axle/Gears: 327
EGR temp sensor is that a must on an 89 T/A 5.7
I transplanted a 90 model IROC Z TPI 5.7 into my 89 T/A Which originally came with a 5.7 TPI in it. Everything plugged in except that the 90 model did not require the EGR temperature sensor and on the 89 it does have the plug in for one.
I have not started this engine in the 89 body yet. I need to know if the EGR temperature sensor is a must or can i do without. This car need to also pass emissions as well.
Any input would greatly appreciated
