Ive got an 89 RS with one of those ba light inserts but no light. I found a few bay lights at the yard. 2 of them are the type that use a switch and I managed to find one of the switches. The other one plugs into the hatch motor. Ive never taken off the rear bay piece. Will my car have the plugs for the pull down motor or would it be easiest to just dremel a hole for the switched one and install that?>

 

Anyone know which of these were stock for an 89 and whether or not it will already have what I need to just plug straight in?

 

My 89 has the light with out the switch and goes off when the hatch is closed.
