i bought a new set of window motors. i was told that all i had to do was plug new motors in and put window all the way down before i try to install them. the trouble is they don't stop turning either direction i try. i was wondering is this normal . or do they stop when they are installed?

 

The motor will spin any time it has power and ground.
They stop when you let off the button or if you have an auto down feature, then they stop when the module turns off the power.

 

i understand they move with the button , but i was under the understanding they only turned so far up or down position.
