shaved door wiring problem
ok i installed the solenoids and ran all the wires according to this schematic it was working ok in the garage but when i pulled the car out of the garage the remote control box started blowing fuses everytime i try to open the door with the remote.. if anyone could maybe shown me a better diagram of how its supposed to be wired from someone whos done this before that would be great..
also i did check all the +wires to make sure none of them are grounding out

Re: shaved door wiring problem
Check the relays, definitely. Terminals 85 and 86 are the "control" terminals. You apply power to them to trigger the relay.
30 and 87 are the "load" terminals. The relay connects 30 and 87 when you apply power to the "control" terminals.
You can checkthe "load" circuit in the following way: on each relay, pull the wire off terminal 30 and touch it to terminal 87. That will complete the "load" circuit and the door should open. It will make a small spark, that's normal.
If this test blows your fuse, you might want to check if you have the right size fuse for the load or if the circuit is wired correctly.
Also, you can leave the terminal 30 disconnected and try pressing the remote button. The door should NOT pop. The relay should click. If it blows the fuse, it's the "control" circuit that's wrong.
Hope this helps.
Let us know what you find.
