What is this wire?

Hey Guys/Girls...


Yea, so im restoring an 86 z28..There is a wire coming out from the left of the steering wheel above the "blinker lever" as i call it. Inside the black sheathing or w/e it is i think one green and one yellow wire. here is a pic. sorry the quality is bad, its from my phone.

Patience, my friend.

That looks like the wire bundle that goes into the turn signal stalk.
Do you have cruise control? Does it work?

Thats for sure the cruise control. They're the only wires that run from the turn signal stalk.

Thanks guys!

Is there any reason that I should connect those immediately? it would drain battery or anything like that would it? cause my battery died recently, we didn't figure out why.. But i think i just have a bad alternator.

You shouldn't have a problem. Probably best to not let the two wires come in contact, but thats just a precaution.
