Unconnected underhood connectors? What are they for?

K, i have a 85 camaro z28 with an LG4.

its a CANADIAN one, so it DOES NOT have the computer controlled carb.

Ive found these 3 connectors under my hood disconnected, im wondering if they should be connected to anything.

I think the first one, would be o2 sensor (if it existed), so useless (can anyone confirm this)

the second one, has 2 wires and a resistor connected to both of them

(the above 2 are from the same wiring harness, by the driverside valve cover)

This other wire has 3 or 4... wires in it, its in the same wiring harness as the hood light.. located by the firewall on passenger side, near tranny dipstick...It looks pretty clean.... im thinking maybe this is an A/C connector (i have no a/c). (can anyone confirm this)?

Can't really say what their for, but I can confirm that I also have alot of unused plugs on my harness. Especially 2 large connectors in the proximity to the carb, and one at the distributor. Other then that, there's all kinds of smaller connectors that don't go to anything all over the place. Guess they used the same wiring on all cars.

I have a canadian model aswell.

i am almost certain that the second picture is the wire that plugs into the ac compressor

Re: Unconnected underhood connectors? What are they for?

First picture looks like the connector that goes to the solenoid that holds the throttle at idle (it pushes out to keep it in place). The second wire is definately the connector for the ac compressor. And the third connector I beleive and someone can correct me If I am wrong but I think it completes the connection between your Single electric cooling fan and your relay. Hope this helps and I apologize if I am wrong
