LED tail lights?

Okay here is my problem, I have an 89 firebird with a set of GTS blackouts. The blackouts do make the parking lights, brake lights, and turn signals kind of dim during the day time. I have read about people puting in LED bulbs but arent that bright and have the eye ball effect. I am not too worried about the eye ball effect I am just looking for brighter lights for my tail lights. I am wondering if anyone has used these style led bulbs. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-x-1...spagenameZWDVW I do know that these are amber colored bulbs and they do come in clear and red as well. I am just wondering if anyone has used these bulbs and how bright they are. They have 57 led's in them and they light up all the way around to help with filling up the tail lights instead of the light pointing straight out. Any help with this would greatly be appreciated and I do not want to take the blackouts off so this is not an option incase anyone has that idea. I do have a brake light on my spoiler so at least they can see when I am stopping. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Re: LED tail lights?

Avoid buying stuff like this from e-bay unless you are SURE that it is quality.

There are lots of sites that sell lights like this. I would check their return policies and such. autolumination.com is one I bought my led underbody from, on aeriostyle.com they have good mention, my custom interior using their single led's is bright and high quality so... Check them, maybe jcw.com some other sites, http://www.paddockparts.com/Paddock/...asp?URLCheck=1 and summitracing.com maybe jegs.com among others.

Edit: I will be moving over entirely to led's eventually, on both cars. And doing my thirdbrake light on the f-bird in a custom led setup, same with the domelights in the cars.
