What are these for?
I am trying to clean up me engine bay and I would like to remove unnecessary items. I am guessing they are for cruise control or something, not sure. Since i have dont have cruise working and will never need it, i want to remove it. I have a 400sbc carbed in it so I don't need stupid computer crap.
I just wanted to know a ballpark of what these are as I will not remove them until I am sure they are not part of running the motor.

This picture is similiar to my 89 IROC. It's not exactly the same as yours but I bet it's close. I'm sure you'll need all the relays on the firewall.

If you have a mech fuel pump and vacuum dist. you can get rid of those.
They are ESC module, Fuel Pump Relay (or Fan Relay in which case you can relocate it), and MAP Sensor. Your car was probably a TBI car originally.
I eventually removed mine from my 86, they were just sitting there in this picture.
When I installed the TPI on the car, I put the MSD box in that area.
