Fuel Gauge
Ok Im trying to find out the name of the "thing" that goes in my gas tank that determines the level of fuel. In other words my gas tanks always says fuel and Im trying to find out the name of that sensor. Im told its in the tank and that thats my problem. I was told its called a "fuel level sensor", but I cant find anything under that name on any sites like Autozone.
Note: Im not sure if this was that right place to post this. If not I apologize.

Re: Fuel Gauge
It is called a fuel sending unit. You will have to drop the tank to put it in. To drop the tank you will need to drop the rear differential. I have done a couple. It takes about a day, could probably be done quicker.
