Reverse light help...

I have searched for about an hour and couldnt find an answer to my problem...

Set-up: 350 with 5spd. manual...

Problem: My reverse lights dont work at all...

Soultions tried: new bulbs nothing...tried 12V test light nothing (it did work on the tail lights and blinkers so i know its not the test light) not sure what else i could try...

im thinking about rigging it up with a pressure switch so it will pass inspection but i would like to resolve this problem and not just a band-aid fix

thanks

Re: Reverse light help...

I would look at the reverse switch on the transmission (driver side). It had a blue and green wire. The blue should have 12V on it with ignition on (powered by the turn/back-up fuse).
The light green should have 12V on it when the car is in reverse (with the key on, again).

That would tell you if it's the switch, the wiring from the fuse or the wiring to the tail lights.

Hope this helps.
