Car: 1988 Pontiac firebird
Engine: built 350
Transmission: 700r4 built up to 600hp
Axle/Gears: stock for now
Putting water temp gauge on trans?

Can it be done?

Sure, the only thing that makes it a water temp gauge instead of a transmission temp gauge is the labelling on the face.

You'll need to figure out a way to get the sender into the fluid, but once you do it'll work fine.

There isnt just a place it will screw in? Any ideas how do do this?

thats what i was thinking, except i was going to drill a whole for the sensor and weld a bolt above the hole so i can screw in the cap.
