quick stereo and fuse box question
I started up my camaro yesterday, but noticed my radio wasnt coming on (its a sony xplod head unit) i checked all fuses and everything seemed to be in good working order, but i was wondering where else the problem could be...are there any "in-line" fuses in the wires between the fuse box and stereo i may need to check? as stated above, i checked all fuses in the fuse box, but i was still curious as to which particular fuse goes to the radio? any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: quick stereo and fuse box question
Aftermarket head units normally have 2 inline fuses. One in the line for switched 12V (ignition or ACC), normally a red wire, which gives power to the radio when the key is on. The second is constant 12V for memory power and keeps your radio stations and clock when the car is off, normally a yellow wire. Of course you'll need to pull the head unit out to see these. Hope that's all it is.
