anybody knows what that relay is for?? a few days ago i started hearing a constant, annoying buzzing sound coming from under the dash(fuse box area), anyway i traced it to a bad(green) relay located in that flat black swing out console across from the fuse panel. The car is an '86 sport coupe(4bbl carbed).

 

Disconnect it and see what quits working.

 

nothing stopped working as far as I could tell....the car is not stock by the way, it has a built carbed 355ci and i'm not using an ecm. Does your car have that relay ringo234?

no pic but its mounted on the same pad that has the turn signal and hazard light flasher unit.

 

my turn signal and hazard light flasher unit are just hanging from wires under the center of the dash I think thery're located on the back of the fuse panel on yours. So I think our cars are wired slightly different. So without a Picture I'm not sure what you're talking about.
