145 mph cluster

In my 92 camaro, I just recently got the 145 cluster from it. (upgraded from 110). After I put the white face gauges in, my tach stopped working and my 4 center gauges are haywire... I did pop the needles off to put the white faces on. Could someone help me to fix this problem? Its costing me sleep

Re: 145 mph cluster

If you replaced the entire cluster and your old one functioned as designed, I'd swap the 145 speedo head into it--I don't know why but electrical gremlins crop up from time to time. Or perhaps the new cluster simply isn't seated properly.

I tryed both, now there both not working. Ive got one more trick up my sleeve, them im all out. Im just going to get a friends 110 cluster and put it in and see if its doing the same thing. If so, then I can narrow it down to the car side, not the cluster.

Re: 145 mph cluster

Ok, here is the update. All of my gauges, except my speedometer are working now. Not good however. My rpm gauge I got working, its working fine. My gas gauge seems to be fine. My heat gauge is fine but is reading a little high, my oil gauge is reading too low, and my battery gauge is reading a little too high. Now my speedometer isnt working. I did swap out a 110 cluster for a 145, would I need to get a new VSS for it to work? Help me please
