Help with what to do with sensor wires I don't need
I'm setting up my 88 Firebird up for the 1/4 mile and I have a whole bunch of sensor wires I need to get rid of.
I did not want to cut the pigtails off them but some of them I can't hide in the wire loom.
What is the easiest and cheapest way to seal the ends of the wires so I don't have to worry about them?
Thanks,

You cut the insulation with a knife, and then you apply wirecutters into the cut but pushing the insulation 1/4" back before you snip through the conductor. That way the insulation will extend back out over the end of the conductor, protecting it from any shorts. No need for tape or heatshrink.

I never thought of that.
The only thing is that I could get some moisture on the wire and thats what I don't want.
If I do that the only thing I can think of doing is bending over the 1/4 of the insulation and using some heat shrink tube if it will fit in the tube.
They make heat shrink caps but none in any automotive sizes just big 1inch.
Heat shrink caps would be easy and kinda cheap but o well.
Thanks,
