1992 Camaro RS gauges
1992 Camaro RS gauges
I have a 1992 Camaro RS, with all orginal interior, including dash and all. I'm new to cars and modifying cars, hell, I'm new to owning and driving a car. But i want to put in aftermarket gauges, just something that looks neat, maybe digital.
Is this possible? If so, where would I get the gauges? Would I be able to remove the original gauges, or would I have to build over the originals?
Thanks in advance for all the help.

Nordskog makes a digital replacement for 3rd gen Camaros, installation requires some wire splicing and replacing some senders.

If you really want to spend the money, Dakota Digital will take your analog gauge cluster and refit it with digital gauges - takes about 90 days. Installation for these also requires wire splicing and replacement of senders.

They turn out like this, a picture I took on the rollers of a dyno...
I have about 70K miles on that cluster

Re: 1992 Camaro RS gauges
for digital..no but if u just wanted standard aftermarket guages you could get some kind of sheet metal to make a custom gauge set but just so u know its not a plug n play mod, there will be wiring to be done. you should probably invest in a shop manual...factory one would be ideal but if that is out of your price range a haynes still helps out a little, just remember its not god it can be wrong.
