replaced headlight motor, still not working

my left motor was out, so I found a replacement online and installed it today only to find out that the headlight still won't go up. I tested the motor on the right side to make sure the motor worked, and it did. Since the motor does work, I'm guesing it's something electrical. I don't know much about wiring, but does anyone know what might be the problem and how I can fix it? Thanks

I forgot to mention it's a 91 firebird

check power with a test light, if nothing trace ground back or do a resistence test the wire. If not just tap into the other sides wires and and run themto the other side.
