I was under the dash of a 1985 Z28 that I just bought and found a grey box that has been wired into the wiring harness. It ismade by Dana corp. Precision Controls Division.. It hasone sensitivity adjustment a centering adjustment and a low speed sw. adjustment. T has a whitewire on the side that sas cut for manual transmission. What is this thing and can I unhok it. It was wired to a togge switch.

 

My first guess would be it's an aftermarket/add-on cruise control control box.
