Power window resets radio?
So today I finally pulled the power wiring from my parts car, installed it in the '89 and all was working great. I put the car in accessory to let the radio play (currently have an aftermarket jvc deck installed) while I clean up, a few mins later I go to put the window up, and I discover the radio resets everytime the window button is pressed...
Anyone have any ideas? I'd attempt to fix this one on my own, but I have to head off to work, and won't be able to fiddle with the car until tomorrow morning.

Re: Power window resets radio?
I will just throw out some ideas for your consideration:
1. If you are saying that your power windows can be raised and lowered while your key in the ACC position I would consider this a little unusual. On all of the automobiles I have had with power windows I had to place the key in the RUN position in order to raise and lower the windows.
2. If you are sharing the same fuse with both the power windows and the JVC deck I would think this a little unusual.
3. If you have a questionable contact with your positive or negative battery terminals or questionable ground wire contacts those issues should be resolved before troubleshooting anything else. Check to make sure those contacts are as perfect as you can make them so that they can be eliminated from further consideration.
