Speedo jumping

Car: 88 gta
Engine: 5.7
Transmission: 700r4 with 2400 stall
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.23
Speedo jumping
I have a 88 gta with the digital dash and since I put my Accel 300+ ignition on the speedo jumps around even stting there in park .Anyone run into this before or is this common ?
