HELPFUL SUGGESTION !!!

o.k. i have a chore in front of me . trying to repair hacked wires on my 88 s/c . while doing some solder work it came to me that some out there might not know of this product . it's called liquid tape . it is easy to use , better than heat shrink ( i think ) . seals very complete . just follow instuctions on container . used this stuff a lot when when i lived in fla. keys keeping my boat running . should be available at most marine supply stores . it may take a couple of coats to fully seal . DO NOT , use around carpet unless you protect it . check it out , i think you will like it . has worked for me , one small can will last a lifetime ( unless you leave it un-capped ) . good luck .

Also currently available at O'Reilly auto parts in the electrical Isle at the bottom of the peg hooks, approximately midway down, according to most plan-o-grams... Hope this helps find it more easily.

Oh yes, much agreed, much agreed. It also works pretty well as a handle coating for small tools and pliers if anyone has the time to allow it to dry before using...
