Parking lights

My marker lights, tail lights, license plate lights, or dash lights won’t work. I can’t figure it out, and the fuse keeps blowing. I checked all the lights and connections and they are good. Head lights still work and the brake lights come on when you step on the break. I even changed the headlight ****, and they still won’t work.

If the fuse keeps blowing, then it would seem you have a short somewhere in the wiring.Time for some troubleshooting.

Re: Parking lights

It's not uncommon for a light bulb or socket to build up corrosion and cause a short in the light circuit, especially if you live up north. It won't take long to check all the bulbs. Yes, it's a pain but it's a start.

Did the short start happening all of a sudden? What was being done to the car just prior? Maybe a wire got nicked/cut?

Re: Parking lights

I would be investigating the headlight harness in the engine bay, then. Sounds like there might be a short in there.
The headlight harness is separate on the C100 (the main firewall connector). You can unplug it for example, put a fuse in and see if it blows again. That'll give you an idea.

Hope this helps.
