hi again,

i have a '90 iroc and the wipers are killin me. it was blowin fuses when the wipers were turned on. i replaced the wiper motor and it still blew fuses. think the problem is in the switch. so what i have donefor the time being is install a 3 position toggle just to run on high and low speed wipers with no intermidiate wiper. i wired the toggle to the bottom of the wiper motor and completely bypasses the control board on the wiper assembly. my problem is that the wipers will move but only move about 1" . what have i done wrong? is it the linkage from when i changed out the motor? or do i have it wired wrong? the motor runs in only one direction. that is correct isnt it? how can i hook up the linkage wrong??? it only lines up one way. i disconnected it at the 2 screws under the vent screen right off the motor linkage. this thing is driving me nuts. sure would appreciate any insight on this.

i'm having a problem with mine stuck in and out of park too. mine goes all 1 direction.

 

im having same problem everything worked before just slow so wanted to replace motor now they move about 2 inches and make a clicking sound the motor has some time of cam in and must have the cover and circuit board installed correctly but darned if i can figure it out

 

My wipers also do the same thing. What I have found is that if I mess with the L shaped plug, that I can get them to turn on and work correctly. But that only happens if I pull up on the plug while it is plugged in. And it only makes them work once in awhile.
