Wiring Harnesses
Wiring Harnesses
Can anyone tell me the difference between a camaro and a T'A wiring harness? I know there are seperate ones for a TBI and TPI. I am curious to know if a t/a will work on a camaro and will control everything on the cluster inside?

Re: Wiring Harnesses
are you talking about the engine harness?
If so,should work as long as its not for a digital dash t/a.Other than that, battery is on opposite sides and requires some modification.

Re: Wiring Harnesses
My tpi setup and harness cam out of a 90 bird. I have a 91 rs. It will work may be some minor pinout changes depending on year. to the IP plug. its the one that goes from the ecm to the gauge cluster. I think its called c207. I don't know if anything else is different bc I had to rebuild c100 bulkhead as my harness was missing it, so I used the tbi harness c100 connector.
Check www.austinthirdgen.org I think or something like that. They have diagrams for almost all the different engines packages available for our cars on the site.

Thats the c100 bulkhead connector I mention above.
You can find the pinouts for that connector on the website I gave above as well
