Auxillary lighting?

I want to wire interior accent neon, and underglown neon as well as driving lights. How do I wire these so that I can shut them off individually and adjust the brightness of the interior neon by using the factory gauge dimming switch? And does anybody know if there is a company that sells a product that would make the job easier?

Re: Auxillary lighting?

to my knowledge there isn't a company that makes such kits for our cars. You would have to make everything custom. Now you want to add interior neons and have them dim with the factory dimmer? Why not just add an on and off switch since the factory dimmer will dim EVERYTHING inside. I have many interior lights, but I went with LEDs instead of neon since they use extremly little power and are just as bright. I also have LEDs in the exterior wheel wells...

wow i never even thought of LEDS, are they expensive(in relation to neon) and if i wanted interior, trunk, and under body lights would i need another alternator.

Re: Auxillary lighting?

no, no, and no. LEDs are much cheaper, easier to work with, and use insanely little electricity. LEDs will not drain your battery unless you left it on for about 1,000 years. No joke. I mainly buy my LEDs from ebay, there are different prices. I have hooked up to my subs aswell that blink/pulse with the music...
