turn signal fuse keeps blowing
turn signal fuse keeps blowing
GM recently changed steering column. now turn signal fuse keeps blowing every time i turn the key forward, i disco turn signal switch from steering column and fuse still blows when key is forward, i used old turn signal switch, it still blows. i checked wiring under dash, it looks good, i disconnected all connections from steering column and kinda crank it from the ignition switch. it still blew the fuse. any help would be great. this is for a 1985 z28, 5.o carb

Wow! The fuse blows as soon as you turn the key? You need to carefully check the long plug on top of the steering column and make sure the colors match up with the old plug. The colors should all match up.
