Hi guys,

All of a sudden my trunk won't open anymore.. If I press the dashboard-button nothing happens.. I think this must be a fuse problem.. The other thing is that my temp. gauge doesn't work either.. Might these problems be related? Could anyone tell me what fuse it should be and where to find it?

I got the same problem almost in my '83 Firebird the trunk won't open when I press the switch my temp gauge works fine though. I already checked fuses and they are all good. Did your temp gauge used to work and crapped out or never worked?

 

But did you fix the problem? Or could the trunkmechanism have died on me?
Do you know where to find the fusebox? Is it located under the dash above the pedals?
