i was just thinking how would i hook things up to the wiring harness and computer? i have a standard camaro with out any factory options but i want to add power everything and crusie control, and daytime running lights, o and fog lights. the fog lights, power locks, windows, hatch i can get but what about the rear defroster? and well how bout the cruse control and daytime running lights? what all needs to be done to get them on and working?

 

any1? no one gona say go search or some smart answer? is the things just plug and play? or do i need a new harness?

 

Well, just think about it... you have a base model car with no wiring for all the power options you want. It'd be easier to go to the junkyard and find a similar year car that has those options and then pull all the wiring harnesses (body/dash/rear) including the switches and relays and put it in your car. I'm not sure if your wiring harness has existing plugs for cruise control and fog lights (I think the factory sometimes ran the wires for them), but if it doesn't, then you'll need the engine & light harness as well. Lots of work, but then it'd be wired right, and you could troubleshoot things easily.
