So i have had my 00-02 console in for about 2-3 months and never wired up the cig lighter. so how do you wire it up? it would be useful to have an extra lighter to charge a passengers phone or something.

Mine plugged right in to the stock wires for the original one. The center terminal is positive, outside terminal is negative.
