4th Gen power seats wiring
Ive been looking to swap in a set of 4th gen leather seats and noticed that like 99% of them are power. The issue is I have manual seats now so I dont think I have a stock power harness. I have no Idea what the wiring ahrness looks like for power seats. Is it the same in a thirdgen as it is in a 4th gen. Is it simple enoguh where its just a 12 v source and ground or is there more to it? Any input or pics of the harness would help. Thanks

everyone says its so easy but its not. six wires that do not match the color of the ones in a 90 camaro, and that is for both seats.
also there is the lumbar control and no one can tell me where all the hoses go.
im taking pictures of the entire thing and will post them after it is all done.
but no, its not bolt and plug, and plan on spending a lot of time on it.
and that X under the front seat carpet where the plug is supposed to be, well it ain't there either.
so don't let anyone blow smoke up your butt about this.
im getting a complete wiring chart of the 1990 camaro and one of the 98 t/a so i know what is really what.
and yes i do have a special fuse already there for it in the fuse box, but does me no good at all.
and get someone to cut the bar off when you put in the new back seats too, it sticks out from the center, and will cut into your new leather seats. you will need to have them cut it from the center and then grind that piece down. dont just cut the bars off and leave the bump, it looks bad and people will scratch themselves on it, if anyone ever does sit in the back seat.
