Proximity Sensor?
I took out my center console the other day in search of a draw on my battery. I found a clear box with 3 wires which were cut clean comming from it, 1 blue wire, 1 black wire and 1 brownish color wire.. The box was secured to the hump under the console by the emergency brake. There was no name on the box only the number 508TC. I did some reasearch online and found that it is likey a proximity sensor for an alarm system that must have been installed and removed prior to my obtaining the vehicle. My question is, how does this sensor connect to the electrical system. Does anyone have any experience with this piece? I am trying to find out what is killing my brand new battery and am willing to explore all avenues.

Hook up an ammeter is series with your battery.
Remove, one at a time, the fuses in the car.
When you see the excessive draw drop down you will know the problem circuit.
