Ok, so my wipers are not working, not sure why, the fuse is good(but hot at all times?), and the wiper switch is too. They wont move at all in any setting.
I jumped the gray wire from the module to the battery and they worked (low speed)
How can I wire the wipers (I only need one speed low or high, doesn't matter) to a single toggle switch, and what kind of circuit protection should I use?
I checked the module harness with a test light with the wiper selector on all positions and didn't get power on any of them, either times. The wiring is already back yard jobby'd from the previous owner, and I will re-wire everything in the spring.
I just need wipers for the rain.
Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated.

Use a single pole, single throw switch in series with the wire you were experimenting with.
Use a 25 amp fuse on any wire that can be pinched / shorted / has the possibility of rubbing thru.
On fuses in general, it is safer to install them nearest to the source of power.

So I should run the purple wire (stock switched wiper wire) to a switched 12+, then run the gray wire (low speed signal) to a toggle switch then to a 12+.
Will it be too much current even for a 25A fuse?

use a 3 position switch so u can atleast have 2 speeds up for low and down for high run power from the wiper part of the fuse box to the switch , this way u can leave the fuse in the fuse box , make sure the switch u get is rated for atleast 10-15 amp
